SURFACE TREATMENT
Generally not treated, after the laying marble usually needs to be processed using some water-repellent and stainless products.

BIOMICRITE
CLASSIFICATION AND GEOLOGICAL FORMATIONS
Sedimentary rock composed by micritic compact limestone, with fine lime mudstone, originated during the superior Jurassic period – inferior Cretaceous. The stratification is regular and flat characterized by the frequent present of micro-fossils and sometimes also ammonites, nodules, dark grey flint lenses with fine texture, black flint or olive brown colored.
The material BIANCO PERLINO shows some typical lightly opened veins, as a sedimentary rock.
EXTRACTION
This stone is extracted in quarries in Asiago area.
It can be cut CROSS CUT or VEIN CUT. Rarely the quarry bank have a thickness superior then 100 cm. , sometimes even reach180 cm.. In this case the blocks can be cut perpendicular to the grain and the material is called “VEIN CUT”. In this cutting typology all the slabs of the block are similar and present horizontal parallel veins.
